Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
ManagerSignal collects two categories of information: (a) Structured review data submitted by team members and direct reports, which is anonymized before processing; and (b) Account information provided by employer subscribers, including business contact details and payment information. We do not collect personal identification from anonymous review submitters.
2. How We Use Information
Review data is anonymized, moderated, and aggregated to generate ManagerSignal Score analytics, industry benchmarks, and employer dashboards. Account information is used to provide and improve the Service, process payments, and communicate about subscriptions. We never use review data to identify individual submitters.
3. Anonymization Process
All manager reviews undergo a multi-step anonymization process: (a) IP addresses and device identifiers are not logged; (b) Personally identifiable information within review text is detected and removed; (c) Temporal and geographic data is generalized to prevent identification; (d) Reviews are only included in aggregate analytics after anonymization is verified.
4. Data Sharing
ManagerSignal does not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties. Employer subscribers receive aggregate analytics only, never individual review data. We may share anonymized, aggregate statistics for research or marketing purposes. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights.
5. Data Retention
Anonymized review data is retained indefinitely to maintain historical analytics accuracy. Account information is retained for the duration of the subscription plus 12 months. Payment information is processed and stored by our PCI-compliant payment processor and is not stored on ManagerSignal servers.
6. Security Measures
ManagerSignal employs industry-standard security measures including: encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256); regular security audits and penetration testing; access controls and role-based permissions; monitoring and intrusion detection systems. Our infrastructure is hosted on SOC 2 Type II compliant cloud providers.
7. Cookies and Tracking
ManagerSignal uses essential cookies to maintain session state and preferences. We use analytics cookies to understand platform usage and improve our service. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access your account data; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your account; object to certain processing activities; data portability. To exercise these rights, contact legal@signalsuitehq.com.
9. International Data Transfers
ManagerSignal processes data in the United States. If you are located outside the US, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. We implement appropriate safeguards for international transfers in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify employer subscribers of material changes via email. The date of the last update is indicated at the top of this page.
