Terms of Service
The terms that govern your use of SignalSuite during our invite-only pilot, in plain language.
Last updated: Pilot release
These terms govern your access to and use of SignalSuite (“SignalSuite”, “we”, “us”) during our pilot. Please read them carefully. If you are accepting on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using SignalSuite, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Pilot & eligibility
SignalSuite is offered as an early-stage, invite-only pilot. Access is provided at our discretion, features may change, and parts of the service are still in active development. You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the service. Because this is a pilot, the service is provided on the basis described in the disclaimers below.
3. Accounts & workspaces
Authorized users access SignalSuite through a workspace. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your credentials secure, and for activity that occurs under your account. A workspace administrator is responsible for managing roles, invitations, and the configuration of diagnostics within their workspace, and for ensuring their use complies with applicable law and any internal policies or notices owed to respondents.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- attempt to de-anonymize respondents or otherwise re-identify individuals from aggregate signals;
- use the service to harass, retaliate against, or discriminate against any person;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service except under our responsible-disclosure process;
- interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to it;
- reverse engineer, resell, or use the service to build a competing product, except where such restrictions are prohibited by law.
5. Data & privacy
Our handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy. In short: anonymous signal responses are stored without identity foreign keys, workspaces are isolated from one another by Postgres Row-Level Security, and we practice data minimization and least-privilege access. When we process data on your behalf, we do so under your instructions; a Data Processing Agreement is available on request.
6. Intellectual property
SignalSuite, including the platform, its software, and its branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during the pilot, subject to these terms. You retain rights to the content and configuration you provide; you grant us the rights necessary to host and process it to deliver the service.
7. Disclaimers
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis during the pilot. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. SignalSuite surfaces signals to inform decisions; it does not make decisions for you, and you remain responsible for the actions you take. We do not currently warrant any specific uptime or availability.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access (including the pilot as a whole) at our discretion, particularly where use violates these terms or poses a risk to the service or its users. On termination, the rights granted to you end; provisions that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.
10. Changes
Because this is a pilot, these terms may change as the service evolves. When we make a material change, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected users. A full general-availability version will follow and will be dated and versioned.
